Toothpick nail art is getting more and more popular in the world of nails and 2014 manicure because you can make dots in different sizes with a toothpick, which is not possible with other professional dotting tools (you need a set). This allows you to make numerous easy, but cute nail art designs! So if you’re traveling and you would like to have your manicure and nail art cute and fun, you only need few nail polishes and a toothpick with you!
The first nail art design in this nail tutorial is a cute heart balloon in the sky. This design is perfect for Valentine’s Day nail art! Paint your nails with blue nail polish, draw a red balloon and some fluffy white clouds and that’s it! The next design is perfect for the animal lovers. I show how to create an interesting French manicure inspired puppy paws nail art design. Since we’re using a toothpick as a dotting tool, we are making pairs of dots for red bows and big dot with 3 small ones for paws. This nails design is very cute! I also show how to create a cute and funky heart leopard print nail design. Using orange color for the background, light pink, green and pink for the hearts you get an adorable and easy-to-make nail art design in no time. Another nail design from the Valentine’s nail art designs in my nails tutorial is a kisses design, where I mix some French manicure inspiration with red Valentine’s lips. This is such a simple nail art design that everyone can try out this Valentine’s Day. The last two nail art designs are a mosaic inspired exclamation mark and heart nail art. With a help of a scotch tape as a stencil you will get a cute and neat design even if you’re a bit clumsy as me. Then you just dip a toothpick into nail polish and make dots with a dotting tool.
